Our client, a global consultancy company based in Cambridge, is looking for a Consultant Support Assistant to join their team.
The core objective of this role is to support consultants with their project and sales activities; offering both Project and Client Relationship support. The majority of your time will be focused on broad ranging project administration including building project trips, diary management, and arranging follow-up meetings and calls. This is a busy role supporting the fluctuating needs of your consultant stakeholders who typically work on a number of projects simultaneously. You will also provide general administrative assistance to other members of the team to help balance workloads across the team and to cover for absences.
Client Relationship Support
Previous experience in a PA/group secretarial/administrative role, preferably in a consulting or client services environment, is essential. Candidates must have experience of working successfully with senior management and need to demonstrate proven ability to build good relationships at all levels. It is essential that candidates have experience of successfully building international travel itineraries via a travel agent and associated diary management. Candidates will need excellent organisational skills along with excellent oral and written communication skills. Intermediate proficiency in Word, Excel and CRM tools is required.
Success in this role is dependent upon your ability to build relationships (internally and externally), competently managing multiple tasks, effectively and cheerfully re-prioritising work in response to often urgent change requests, and to proactively take ownership of tasks in order to progress and complete them efficiently and effectively.
You must be capable of working on your own initiative and be passionate about providing the highest levels of support, working both independently and as part of the support team to meet deadlines and exceed expectations. You will have a calm and professional approach, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills in your interactions with people at all levels.
