Our client, a research and development pharmaceutical company based in Cambridge, is looking for a Facilities Co-ordinator/Workplace Services Advisor to join their Workplace Services team.
This is initially a 12 month, fixed term contract. The Facilities Co-ordinator/Workplace Services Advisor will be responsible for the day to day operations of the catering and cleaning contracts across the Cambridge campus to over 1,000 colleagues and 20,000 visitors annually. This is not an administration role, it is much more a hands on role and would suit a facilities administrator looking for the next step.
You’ll need to have a passion for great food and outstanding customer service as our client’s subsidised catering provision is a fantastic benefit highly regarded by both employees and visitors. You’ll also need to have good financial acumen and be great at juggling multiple priorities with outstanding communication skills; able to build professional working relationships with internal and external customers and stakeholders. Flexibility is key to this role; you will need to meet the needs of the business to deliver projects which may require occasional evening and weekend working. Knowledge of project management tools and techniques (Prince2), knowledge of software packages required for the role (AutoCAD, Condeco, Maximo, Service Now) and previous contract management experience would all be highly desirable.
