Our client, a global promotional merchandise business, is looking for a Group Product Compliance and Quality Manager to join their Manchester based team. They are looking for an ambitious and experienced candidate to maintain and continuously improve their industry leading standards in this area. The Group Product Compliance and Quality Manager will manage a team of five and will report to the COO, with a dotted reporting line to the Senior ESG Officer of their parent company.

This role is ideally based in our client’s Manchester office, although there may be scope to be based in the London office. To join their ambitious team, they are seeking an individual who will be able to travel between the sites with occasional visits to their non-UK offices. Candidates will need a real passion for the ever-evolving issues surrounding Product / Vendor Compliance, Quality Management, Sustainability and good governance. Proven post graduate experience in a leading position in the relevant areas, preferably in a service/import industry, is essential for this role. Candidates must possess strong communication skills; able to clearly present and communicate strategies both internally and externally. Strong expertise and work experience in Product / Vendor Compliance and Sustainability is essential. Candidates must have detailed knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14000. An understanding of product testing and familiarity with working with test/inspection companies would be a major benefit. It would also be advantageous to have knowledge of packaging regulations, electrical waste and battery regulations, and REACH. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills paired with a clear collaborative and hands-on approach.
